Atletico Madrid Welcomes Matteo Ruggeri as New Left-Back
Atletico Madrid has made an exciting announcement, revealing the signing of Matteo Ruggeri from Atalanta. The 22-year-old left-back is set to join Diego Simeone’s squad and is expected to secure a starting position following the departure of Reinildo Mandava. In the following season, Ruggeri’s contributions were slightly reduced, with three assists in 38 appearances. Despite this, he remained a valuable asset to Gasperini’s squad, showcasing his adaptability and work ethic.
