Girona considers €30m offer from Wolves for defender

Girona open door to defender sale as Wolves make €30m offer

Girona Defender Ladislav Krejci Linked with Premier League Side Wolves

Girona is facing a challenging summer, with the potential departure of one of their key players, Ladislav Krejci, to Premier League side Wolves.

Napoli recently confirmed the signing of Miguel Gutierrez for €20m, of which Girona will receive €10m due to a sell-on clause with Real Madrid. This influx of funds could enable Girona to make late transfer deals, including the possible departure of Ladislav Krejci.

Krejci, who impressed during his debut season at Girona after joining from Sparta Prague last summer, is now attracting interest from Wolves. According to reports, Wolves have submitted an opening offer for the Czechia international, with a rumored bid of €30m on the table.

Girona has reportedly decided to listen to offers for Krejci, indicating that his departure could be imminent. Wolves’ strong interest in the player suggests that a potential transfer deal could be in the works.

Wolves Eyeing Multiple Catalonia-Based Players

Aside from Ladislav Krejci, Wolves are also targeting Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado, as reports suggest. Casado is reportedly available for a similar fee of around €30m, indicating that Wolves could potentially secure a double deal worth €60m from Catalonia.

While Krejci’s potential departure would be a setback for Girona, it may be necessary for the club to make necessary squad additions before the summer transfer window closes. The sale of Krejci could provide Girona with the resources needed to strengthen their squad under manager Michel Sanchez.
