Valencia Edge Past CP Parla Escuela

After delays caused by Storm DANA, Valencia finally faced off against CP Parla Escuela in the Copa del Rey. In a hard-fought match, Ruben Baraja’s side managed to secure a 1-0 victory. Pepelu’s goal in the 20th minute proved to be the decider, although Valencia had several opportunities to increase their lead. Despite a spirited effort from the hosts, Valencia’s defense held firm to advance to the next round.

Getafe Dominates Manises CF

Getafe had a more comfortable outing in the Copa del Rey, defeating Manises CF with a commanding 3-0 victory. Jose Bordalas’ team put on a clinic in the first half, scoring three goals in just 13 minutes. Bertug Yildirim found the back of the net twice, while Peter Gonzalez also got on the scoresheet. The quick succession of goals ensured Getafe’s progression to the second round of the competition.
