Real Madrid Star Rejects Milan Move

Real Madrid star turns down opportunity to join Milan

Real Madrid Focusing on Sales and Squad Additions

Real Madrid is currently prioritizing sales as they have already made four additions to Xabi Alonso’s squad, including Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Franco Mastantuono, and Alvaro Carreras.

Left-Back Position Under Scrutiny

With the arrival of Carreras, Real Madrid now have three first-team options for the left-back position, with Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy already in the squad. Garcia has been linked with a move, particularly from Milan, but it seems likely that he will remain with the team for the upcoming season.

Real Madrid has no intention of selling Garcia this summer as they view him as the perfect backup for Carreras. Garcia himself is eager to continue playing at the Santiago Bernabeu, as reported by MD.

Despite a below-par performance in the previous season, Garcia is determined to prove his worth to Real Madrid, and it seems that coach Alonso is willing to give him that opportunity.

Departure Plans for Mendy

While Garcia looks set to stay, Mendy is the player earmarked for departure from Real Madrid. The club is keen to part ways with the 30-year-old left-back, who is attracting interest from France, despite signing a new contract recently.

Selling Mendy may not be straightforward, but it is essential for Real Madrid to balance their squad. With the need for potential new signings before the transfer window closes, having three first-team left-backs is not feasible for the upcoming season.
