Real Madrid confirm agreement with Serie A side for 20-year-old defender

Real Madrid Sells Jacobo Ramon to Como

In their ongoing efforts to raise funds, Real Madrid has recently focused on player sales. Jacobo Ramon is the latest player to leave the club, joining Serie A side Como on a permanent deal. This move marks the end of Ramon’s 12-year association with Los Blancos.

Real Madrid’s Deal with Como

Real Madrid will receive €2.5m from Como for the transfer of Ramon, with a retained sell-on clause. Additionally, they have three options to re-sign the 20-year-old defender in the summers of 2026, 2027, and 2028. This arrangement mirrors a similar deal made in 2024 for Nico Paz with the Serie A side.

Ramon showed promise during his appearances in the latter stages of the 2024-25 season, including scoring a winning goal against Osasuna. If he continues to progress at Como, there is a possibility that he could return to Real Madrid in the future.

Potential Departures from Real Madrid

Ramon is just one of the La Fabrica talents leaving Real Madrid this summer. Other players, including Rodrygo Goes, Ferland Mendy, and David Alaba, could also be on their way out. Real Madrid’s focus on sales indicates a strategic approach to strengthen the team for upcoming seasons.
