Juventus target Valencia starlet

Juventus become latest side to set sights on Valencia starlet

Valencia’s Transfer Policy

Valencia has a history of selling off major talents every summer as part of their financial strategy. Players like Carlos Soler, Goncalo Guedes, and Giorgi Mamardashvili have all been part of this model. The next potential departure could be Cristhian Mosquera, a defensive talent.

Cristhian Mosquera’s Rise to Prominence

Cristhian Mosquera, a Spanish-Colombian center-back, caught the eye under Ruben Baraja for his tenacity and physical presence in defense. His performances have attracted interest from top European clubs like AC Milan and Atletico Madrid. Despite Valencia’s struggles this season, Mosquera remains a sought-after prospect.

Juventus’ Interest in Mosquera

According to JuveFC, Juventus has entered the race to sign Mosquera. The Italian giants are in the market for a central defender and see Mosquera as a potential target. Talks of a transfer deal between €25m and €30m are underway, with personal terms already agreed upon.

Mosquera’s Future and Competition

With his contract expiring in 2026, negotiations for a renewal with Valencia seem to have stalled. This suggests that Mosquera is likely to move in the summer transfer window. Bayern Munich, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid are also keeping tabs on the young defender, adding to the competition for his signature.

Additionally, Juventus and Inter are interested in Nico Paz from Como. However, Real Madrid is reportedly planning to exercise their buyback option on the Argentine playmaker for the upcoming season.
