Como eyeing Barcelona deal for 26-year-old

Barcelona’s Transfer Plans for Inaki Pena
Barcelona is actively looking to make sales before the end of the summer transfer window, which closes in September. One player on the departure list is Inaki Pena, currently the fourth choice goalkeeper behind Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny, and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Pena’s contract is expiring in less than a year, and Barcelona aims to avoid losing him for free by selling him now. The player has acknowledged this decision. However, his departure is likely to happen later this month, as he is the only registered first-team goalkeeper with La Liga currently.
Although there have been links to Celta Vigo, Pena might be heading to Serie A club Como, as per reports from Football Italia. Como’s head coach Cesc Fabregas has shown interest in bringing Pena on board to compete for the starting goalkeeper position.

Como Move: A Win-Win Situation
Barcelona is expected to demand a reasonable fee for Pena’s transfer, and Como, known for their recent spending, might be willing to meet the valuation. This move would give Pena the opportunity to establish himself as a starting goalkeeper in a top league, while also generating funds for Barcelona through the sale.
The money from Pena’s transfer could be utilized by Barcelona to register more players with La Liga before the summer window closes, strengthening their squad for the upcoming season.
