Barcelona is in the market for a new goalkeeper following another setback for their captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Despite speculation that Inaki Pena may not be trusted by manager Hansi Flick, reports suggest otherwise.
Confidence in Inaki Pena
According to Matteo Moretto, Barcelona has full confidence in Inaki Pena. While the club is exploring their options in the transfer market, they are yet to make a final decision on whether to bring in a new goalkeeper. This decision is expected to be made within the next week.

Potential New Signing
Sport reports that Barcelona’s interest in a new goalkeeper does not automatically mean that Pena will be sidelined. One of the names linked with the club is 37-year-old Antonio Adan, who is currently a free agent after departing Sporting CP earlier this year. Adan has experience playing for Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, making him a viable option for Barcelona.
